Working with a returning client and following the closure of the existing Barclays Bank we utilised Class O Permitted development for the conversion of the Former Bank located in the heart of Sidmouth to provide 3 luxury apartments and ground-floor commercial space.
The apartments include small balcony areas and parking. With the Esplanade and seafront only 300 metres away the property sits in a fantastic location.
With its strong Georgian appearance, tall ceilings and large sash windows the layout and design created a series of rooms that are filled with natural light.
The design holds onto the property's original features, retaining the overall character of the building.
This approach to conversion gives old structures a new lease on life while also contributing to sustainable urban development by reducing the need for new construction.
